Froning took this year off from competition.

He competed in the team event and they took first. I'm not sure if he comes back but I hope not competing as an individual this year makes him hungry to do it next.

But yeah take the money out the NFL, NBA and MLB and they would be just as popular as fricking crossfit

Wrong. How much arena league or D-league you watch bromo? You know pro stars because of the wealth and fame that goes with it. How is "lifting weights" on TV just redic compared to throwing a ball?

Actually I do like watching lifting on tv.

I watch strongmen, Olympic lifting, and crossfit. It needs more air time

The -dottir chicks from Iceland are machines.

Thorisdottir
Sigmundsdottir
Odinsdottir
Davidsdottir

I wonder if Fraser took some things for granted this last year?

He was clearly deficient in some events: legless rope climbs and deficit HSPUS.

Ben Smith was moving slow on those 406lb deadlifts, but when he looked over and saw Fraser, he started getting his arse in gear.

Nah. If one of the current strongman winners showed up at a CF event, they would get left in the dust.

Do you know this man?

Mariusz Pudzianowski.

At his peak he would trounce all of crossfit.

I do know him.

He would win the events where raw power/strength are the lone criteria, but get his arse kicked everywhere else.

..and that is only if he wasn't tested for roids; which would disqualify him immediately.

What kind of testing do they require for CF games? I'm damn sure 75% of the women are juicing and around the same for men..

some of the females have to be on HGH or some other testosterone! The arms/shoulders on some of them is insane.

Big names like that would find a way to beat the test.

The drug tests are now catching up in detecting more users imo.

He does have a better gas tank now since he does mma. But he'd have to be 220 or less to have a legit chance. Not to mention he have to learn hspu's, Olympic lifts, rope climbs.

Read the article on tnation from one of the more well known steroid users in the fitness industry.

It will provide somewhat of an insight.

Keep in mind this was 2014; their testing methods may have changed which could make this article outdated.

The issue with PEDs is that someone will abuse them to a point where they will eventually kill themselves due to the usage in an attempt to make/maintain their livelihood.

In a lawsuit happy environment, it can never be declared legal.
