Anyone listen to this disaster yet? I remember him from SC when I was a kid so I was pretty excited for the interview. Bill is usually great as well. But mother of god does Kilborn go off the reservation on this pod. Probably the worst Simmons interview I've heard.

Pretty much egomaniacal rant about his basketball talents as a kid and at Montana state.

Also he is a better basketball fan than the average person.

Kilborn rarely does media stuff. When he does, he basically does a weird trolling thing of some sort.

I gave up 20 minutes in. He is all over the place and talking crazy. The recent podcasts with Chris Saaca and Rapaport were really good.

Did he end the interview by saying "Nice talk. I'll see you out there"?

That's the only important thing, really.

Yeah he did a story in November with the LA Times and it was written by him and he was interviewing himself. A sample:

We've missed you. What have you been doing?
I've been thoroughly enjoying myself. I have a fairly magical life. Very relaxing. I live in a lovely 1920s English manor that I take considerable pleasure in restoring. I'm presently collecting cut-velvet swatches as I prep for floor-to-ceiling drapes. And on weekends I still make grand entrances through my pocket doors. Wow, you're pulling a lot out of me.

It was torture for the first 15 minutes but then turned out really good.

But holy shite Craig is a giant douche.

When Craig Kilborn was on the Daily Show, his self-aware douchbag bit was mildly entertaining.

But I'm not sure how self-aware he is now...

Terrible

Had to quit about 20 minutes in. Simmons has been getting weird with his guests lately.

I was going to post something about it but forgot.

That was the biggest disaster of a podcast I've ever listened to. It was like some terrible combination of some cocky weekend warrior has-been rambling on cocaine.

Dude was going on and on about going 9 from 20 from 3 point at fvcking some Montana St school like he was pre-Curry.

Yeah it was good shtick and I think he's turned it into a defense mechanism since he kinda blew it.

When Rap was talking about Prince being the Greatest "Cocksman" of all time, I had to pause because I didn't want to bust out laughing in the library at school. Man that was a good podcast.

So glad Bill went to HBO where's there's hardly no restrictions

Rap dropping the stickman line in Stallone voice was the best moment in BSPN history.
