Living in Louisiana (Saints fan) but working in Texas can be brutal. Even if you didn't care about football or the cowboys the constant cowgirl propaganda spewing forth would make you hate them. When they suck it's constant excuses, when they are good the fans turn the chest thumping up to 11.

The other side of the coin is I'm a huge fan of Dak. Love seeing the home grown kid killing it. It's the classic underdog story, dream college didn't want him so he went elsewhere and excelled against the odds. He's now doing the same thing as a rookie in the league, excelling against the odds.
I'm at an impasse as to what to do.

The NFL is better when the Cowboys are a contender. Deal with it.

Spinoff: I wonder who most of the country would pull for in a hypothetical Cowboys/Patriots Super Bowl

Damn Tbird, you know it's true. Stop pretending Texans aren't professional chest thumpers
This truly sucks for me, I want to see Dak do well but I know if Dallas wins I'm going to have a shite talking migraine within an hour of getting to work.

Gee, Cowboys fans bitch when they suck and brag when they win? What nerve! Surely no other fanbase on the planet acts in such a pitiful manner.

I'm looking forward to the game and hope both teams play well, including Dak. I'd like to see the Packers win today and next week as well ( the Falcons). I'd like to see all of the jerk-offs who wrote Rodgers off have to bow before him and worship at his feet when he wins his second super bowl.

I'm sure they do but I'm not surrounded by other fan bases daily.

I'd damn-near blow a lineup of Cowboys before ever pulling for the Patriots.

I would definitely pull for the Pats against the Falcons. Damn the way things are playing out today is the last game I will probably pull against Dallas.

The only way I would pull for the Pats is if it ends up being Pats vs Falcons.

I too am struggling with this but today is an easy choice. As good as Rodgers is (and he's a frikin baller) I kinda don't like his arrogance and want him to get punched in the mouth by a great team see how he responds then. Should be a fun day today and hope Dak goes off.

Piss on Rodgers and Green Bay. I hope Dallas beats them by 7 TDs and Rodgers throws 7 picks.

There are two teams in the NFL I will call historic...... the Cowboys and the Steelers....... nobody else is really close....

You can argue the Pats... but they have only been a heavyweight since 2001.

And the Steelers have only been relevant since the 70's.

The NFL blue bloods are NYG, Packers and Bears. Then you can talk about expansion/AFL teams.

Well, NFL history goes back to the 1920's.
