That's why we need clarification as to the hypo. Is there a lineman? Is Mett just standing there? Does he have some sort of timer to pass the ball?

He's not just going to stand there and let you try to tackle him. He would be able to throw off a vast majority of the respondents.
As for the head on tackle drill, most of them would be the proverbial bug splattered on a windshield, but, let them feed their egos.

Not if you actually know how to form tackle. Sure he's going to fall forward, I'm not pushing him back, but I'd take him down.
