When Pacific joined the WCC, Spokane was no longer the shittiest place in the conference.

You act like they are drawing well in Oakland.

They sold out season tickets for the first time in Oaklands history this year.

Who woulda thought fielding a decent team sells tickets?

dude, it's chi-chi nouveaux riche. such a boom out here in tech, that money is everywhere. Just saying- and I walk it and see it daily.

the trash has been pushed out. they can't afford it anymore, or are attracted by techbros waving 500-750K at them for their shite houses.

Don't they only have 53k seats available? 10k seats in the stadium aren't even available or did they change that?

Is "trashy" the most overused word on TD?

Don't see why not. Only 8 times a year with a metro population of 2 million. Plus you figure a portion of opposing fans would make Vegas the one game a year they travel to. Plus random football fans in for a weekend of drinking and sports betting would want to go see a game.

Don't forget the Raiders still have a ton of fans in L.A.

And it's only a 4 hour drive to Vegas.

Oakland fans would make one or two trips a season. Big fun.

Yes. And ironically, TD is a pretty trashy site.

I think this is such a home run for the NFL. Especially now that the Raiders look like they'll have a good team.
That first Las Vegas Super Bowl will make a big fight weekend look like a regional accountants convention.

There's 60k+ people who would go to a raiders game in Las Vegas every Sunday?

The Raiders would be a giant party weekend. It's only 10x a year counting pre-season games.

People would fly in to Vegas from all over the world for NFL games in Vegas. The casinos would be jammed, people would make weekends out of it and the culture of NFL football would change for the better.

It would be awesome for fans though. They would have big away and foreign neutral fans at every Raiders home game

Yes, there will be things trashier than the Las Vegas Raiders. The Alabama Crimson Tide will always be the World Champions of Trash.
