It won't be immediate, but if UT doesn't improve in a hurry TCU will steal some fans in the area. They can be the local team for 6 million people.

There's a lot of stupid in this thread.

TCU has the #4 ranked team and almost half the stadium is filled with Texas fans...that's embarrassing

That was all the TCU fans with their arms up looking tan fwiw.

ETA:

5K max. It's all purple dotted with orange.

Also - TCU is lousy at "color blocking"... It's supposed to be purple on the EandW sides and white in the EZs... So the white is NOT UT.

Right...specifically:

Bad guess on this one. Self inflicted meltdown already. So sloppy.

Texas is playing a bunch of freshmen........out of necessity. The mighty have really taken a fall. Strong ran off some good players who were problems off the field even though he knew how much it would hurt. I respect him for doing that. If he gets a little time he could get them back to being very good but not sure he'll last long enough.

Ha! No, it's not.

TCU and Baylor didn't come onto the scene in the last two-years.

And do you not see a correlation between the downward spiral and the continued success of TCU, Baylor, A&M, and TT (to a degree).

Do UT fans still buy a lot of ugly-arse burnt orange shite - yes, but in regards to football in Texas, the product on the field over the last few years shows that UT is no longer the King of Texas.

At least you can make fun of yourself!

So many others would still be trying to fight that battle. That said, the game is still young, and our D has been decimated by injuries, so who knows how it will turn out.
