I know LSU/Arky/TX AM/ fans have been there. My Spartans are heading there, and i'm not that far from the MetroPlex.

Thoughts on the game at JW? How was the experience? Worth it or not? Any other input would be great. TIA.

This. Arlington is surprisingly worse than was anticipated.

You can get cheap parking if you don't mind walking. Never paid more than $10 to park there

Also, they have that NFL bag/purse rule.

Highly recommend the trip. Stay in Arlington or FW IMO. Expect to spend a fortune in beer and concessions. Can't really walk to any bars or anythjng cool from the stadium. Oh and parking costs are high as giraffe pussy too.

I have to work NYE, but I'll be gone early in the afternoon . I wasn't sure if the Cotton Bowl game would be different than a cowboys game, or anything like that.

Isn't it that if you sit in the very upper deck, you see the screen more than the field. I've seen it on TV and it's massive as shite.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, doing some research for the game on NYE. Are the 400 level seats as bad as advertised? Looked at this Seats3D site, and it seemed ok. A little different than last year's cotton bowl where tix were way cheaper, as well. Just wanted to ask. TIA.
