I will be in the dome supporting all 3. Complete domination by all 3 teams last night.

Lutcher: All hype no substance. From the fans to the team. The whole "River Parish hostile crowd" bullshite was way overstated. Neville fans started getting in the stands around 5:30 in the cold-arse rain and 30 knot wind. I was soaking wet from the waste down by 6:00. Many were cheering and chanting "Neville, Neville, Neville...." before the game even started and throughout the game as well. Lutcher fans never made a whimper. Some concession stand douche told my Dad and I that "we're gonna kick your arse." We went to get a coke after the game and he, like the rest of the Lutcher fans, was unavailable. Their team came out hyped up and jumping around like they were ready. They weren't. The game was won at the coin toss. Neville wins, defers, and puts Lutcher facing into the wind. Ballgame!!

first off, i went to the game
but think about it:
neville fans who decided on monday that they were going to make the trip still made the trip. once they got there, where the hell are they going to go. the worst thing that could have happened for lutcher was have that game played on TV. lutcher fans went sit by their fire place and watch it in the living room. of course neville fans went to the game. where the frick else were they gonna go.

ironically, if this game had been played in monroe--which got ZERO precipitation--it would have been a much better game. neville was build to crush lutcher in the weather that they played in. nevilles powerful running game was hard to stop. but lutchers offense doesnt work in that weather obviously. i doubt lutcher would have been able to outscore neville regardless, but on a dry field lutcher definitely scores 4+ TDs no matter who they play

all hype no substance is horseshite

Excuses, excuses, excuses. Neville fans could have chosen to stay home instead of driving through a winter storm.I could have sat in the truck with the heater running until gametime instead of risking hypothermia. Lutcher fans could have actually got off their arse and cheered for their undefeated team but they didn't. How the hell do you know if Monroe got any precipitation. I watched the radar all day and the storm covered the entire state not just Lutcher. If you think it would have been different in Monroe your fooling yourself. Lutcher's field was in way better condition that Neville's. Ouachita Parish got over 20 inches of rain in October and its been raining every other week since then.

was at the game and i will say this...neville is the better team hands down. they ran the ball on lutcher with ease every snap no matter what back they had in the game. I will say i think this would have been a much better game on a dry field, but i still like neville to get the win. All i have heard all year is how luthcer was the best team in any class...well i'm here to say i could name quite a few teams that would beat them handily. hats off to neville on a huge win...keep it going

What does that even mean? Are houses with fireplaces all mansions or something?

Well what was that stuff that was falling from the sky that my kids were going crazy after? I thought it was snow but evidently you know more than we in West Monroe/Monroe knows!

Because I posted in another thread that it stopped snowing at 5:30. Nothing fell from the sky during the game Friday night.

How shitty would you have to get by 1 to stay drunk until WM steps off the field at 11?

Would have to pull an LSU'er. Drink a few hours before the game then sneak in 3 flasks to hold me over. Honestly, I'd probably be dead by the time WM stepped on the field. If they served alcohol at these games I'd be drunk by the end of the first game.
