Colts are in a very interesting spot. They will likely be a top 5 pick in the draft and could go QB. Luck is a franchise QB they could deal for a kings ransom. Brisett Also has decent potential. Their roster is garbage, but they could have 3 capable starters at QB on their roster by the end of the draft. Why not deal them and load up on picks. You then can draft a new franchise QB and have pieces for a proper rebuild.
Jim Irsay and co. are too stupid to do this. They drafted one of the top QBs to come out in a while and surrounded him with complete dog shite, which essentially lead to his injury. The offensive line he's had while in Indy has been abysmal at best. Irsay always does this. Manning just had enough of a line to be able to have enough time to do what he could and did. Other than that, Manning was essentially surrounded by shite as well.

Luck has been surrounded by even worse and it's sad watching such a talent at QB take such a beating and possibly change his career forever. Hopefully, for him, this wasn't mismanaged so poorly to where he has long term effects from it.

But, I agree. They need to trade him and move on. He needs to be with a franchise that values him and his health more and one where his talents won't go to waste. Hopefully, Irsay's greed won't be too much to prevent this, but it's hard to see this happening.

Where does the link say his season is over?

This is what I see.

Ballard would not put a date on when Luck will resume practicing. He also didn't shut the door on the possibility of putting his franchise quarterback on injured reserve, which would officially end his season.

So when he comes back he'll have an excuse for his ungodly high number of turnovers. Dude is comically overrated

You got a lot of downvotes but I don’t know why. He’s 100% not cut from the same cloth as Rodgers, Brees, Brady, he’s not as good as Roethlisberger, Ryan, Rivers.

Maybe he’s around a Russell Wilson/Carr type?

He was never going to play this year but the front office didn't want to hurt season tickets sales so they withheld the info from the public.

Bill Polian is doing interviews claiming that the Indy front office failed to get the proper linemen to protect Luck.

Specifically he called them out on getting a bunch of run-protecting road grader linemen for a team which plays over half it’s games in a domed stadium or at warm weather stadiums.

He claims that the strategy they tried is far more appropriate for an AFC North team like Pittsburgh which plays in shite outdoor conditions most of the season.

The Colts have done a horrible job with that roster. I would love to see Luck get traded to another team.
