How do MLB teams project these college kids in regards to power, coming from the college bats? I'm guessing that most of your elite power hitters get scooped up in the draft out of HS. I do t recall many kids from college who are elite homerun hitters in the pros.

Don't they use wooden bats in the summer leagues they play in?

Cape Cod and other leagues use wood bats. Plus BBCOR are sometimes shittier than wood. At least wood has a sweet spot.

Every player new to professional baseball has used metal bats their whole lives prior. I don't think the transition to wooden bats is much of a concern.
