I was trying to keep all the current P5 and G5 teams in the P5 and G5. Also, I'm OK with the SEC how it is now but it wouldn't kill me if Mizzou was not in the SEC.

Plus, my 2nd fav team is Southern Miss and the American, Southwest, Sun Belt, and C-USA conferences that I have are mainly just an attempt to get Southern Miss in a conference with more teams that they actually have a history or potential rivalry with.

add texas a&m, vt, and north ga to that list. in fact, texas a&m university commissions more officers than anymore else except the service academies. eight ags have received the medal of honor. general patton once said, "give me an army of west point graduates and i'll win a battle. give me a handful of texas aggies, and i'll win the war."

Mike Province, founder and president of The Patton Society calls this an urban legend and in the Texas A&M Battalion (2 October 2006) is quoted as saying "I've gotten e-mails and questions regarding that quote for several years... People will use it with Texas Aggies, The Citadel, Virginia Military Institute and even Clemson. All of these schools want to be linked to Patton... Anything is possible... I honestly don't believe he said it, because I've heard too many people say that he said it about their school. But if anyone out there can find proof that he said it, I'd love to hear about it and get it out there."

Yep. My dad is always mad at Southern Miss's leadership because they "didn't get out of C-USA when they had the chance". I think a lot of Southern Miss fans are under the false impression that other conferences were begging for us to join.

The original Big East football proposal was loaded and included the likes of Florida State, Miami, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Louisville, Notre Dame, Pitt, Penn State, Syracuse, etc.
