With the NBA Draft deadline come and gone, along with most major recruits signed on the dotted line (outside of Brian "Tugs" Bowen, who no one knows when he will decide), most rosters are set for the coming season. With that, might as well start a little preseason discussion.

1. Arizona
It was close, but the return of Rawle Alkins paired with fellow returnee Allonzo Trier and a top-five class highlighted by No. 2 DeAndre Ayton and a reclassified Emmanuel Akot gives Sweat Miller one of his best rosters. Now can he take the next step?

2. Michigan State
Tom Izzo is known for working some March magic. This season, no magic will be needed. Miles Bridges made some of the biggest news in announcing to return, now-sophomores Cassius Winston, Joshua Langford, and Nick Ward have a year under their belts and Jaren Jackson gives the Spartans another dangerous post player.

3. Kansas
Wooden Award winner Frank Mason III is gone, Josh Jackson will be a top-five pick, but the Jayhawks will be put in the hands of Devonte Graham. After starting two point guards the last two years, Bill Self has an actual shooting guard in transfer Malik Newman and will be hoping for even more improvement from Svi Mykhailiuk. Add freshman Billy Preston and a healthy return for Udoka Azubuike, and the Jayhawks have one of the best starting five in the country.

4. Kentucky
An incoming class of eight ESPN 100 recruits. Yes, you read that right, eight (well technically seven, since Hamidou Diallo graduated early, but he was a ESPN 100 guy). Calipari will have his work cut out for him with Weynen Gabriel, who averaged 4.6 ppg last year, is his best veteran. The withdrawal of Diallo may have been the best news for the Wildcats, and if he can establish a reliable outside shot to spread the court for this athletic squad, this young roster can make some noise.

5. Duke
Trevon Duval, the closest thing to a Russell Westbrook (minus the occasional bad attitude) had to make Coach K happy to give him his more pure point guard since likely the few games Kyrie Irving played. The return of the OG tripper Grayson Allen gives Duke a solid backcourt, along with the additions of Gary Trent Jr. and Wendell Carter to pair with the nearly-transferred Marques Bolden gives Coach K a solid starting five, but the bench may be one of his weaker squads.

6. Louisville
The late addition of Brian Bowen will help Pitino fill the hole left by leading scorer Donovan Mitchell, and with Louisville returning most of their core, along with the addition of No. 6 center Malik Williams, the Cardinals will make their defense even more fearsome.

7. North Carolina
The defending champs had to be a little shocked when Tony Bradley kept his name in the draft. With that news, their frontcourt may hurt with Theo Pinson and BMOC Luke Maye as their best bigs. Joel Berry II is likely the preseason Wooden Award favorite, and guards Seventh Woods and freshman Jalek Felton give Roy a good backcourt.

8. Wichita State
A team that won 30 games last year, nearly upset Calipari and Kentucky in the tourney, continues to have Gregg Marshall at the helm and returns every key contributor. What's not to like. Don't expect Wichita State to get severely under-ranked come March next year.

9. Florida
Third-year coach Mike White surprised many with his NCAA Tourney run in his Florida encore. Chris Chiozza and KeVaughn Allen form one of the top backcourts, sharpshooting Rice grad transfer Ego Koulechov should fill in at the three, with incoming freshman Isaiah Stokes and the return of John Egbunnu from an ACL tear should provide a menacing post presence.

10. Miami
Lonnie Walker. Just remember that name. Walker, returning sophomore Bruce Brown and JaQuan Newton could form one of the more entertaining trios. If Dewan Huell can live up to his potential to give Larranaga something to work with in the post, the Hurricanes could make some noise in the ACC.

11. West Virginia
You really didn't Huggy Bear wouldn't be much further down this list did you? That pestering defense makes opposing coaches rip their hair out and should continue to get the Mountaineers into March.

12. USC
USC has a great shot at being the second-best team along the west coast behind Arizona. USC returns their top-eight scorers from a squad that was in the second round, and brings in Duke transfer point guard Derryck Thornton and five-star Charles O'Bannon Jr. (dad must really have a grudge with UCLA).

13. Villanova
To lost two players like Josh Hart and Kris Jenkins will be a tough challenge to overcome. Villanova returns nearly everyone else, including Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges, along with the additions of Omari Spellman, who could have been their missing piece to back-to-back title runs last year, and top-50 recruit Jermaine Samuels.

14. UCLA
Alford is going to have his biggest repair job at UCLA, losing five key contributors, including Lonzo Ball obviously. But veterans Aaron Holiday and Thomas Welsh provide some experience for an incoming class that is headlined by Jaylen Hands, Kris Wilkes and Cody Riley.

15. Minnesota
Lil' Pitino put his name out there last year with Minnesota's NCAA run. They return seven of their top eight scorers in a much-weaker Big Ten.

16. Texas A&M
A little favoritism? Sure, but there's good reason. Outside of Miles Bridges, Robert Williams may have made the second-biggest offseason noise with his announcement to return. He pairs with Tyler Davis to form one of the top frontcourt duos. The Aggies problem last year was a lack of a true point guard. Now, they have four options in redshirted J.J. Caldwell, incoming freshmen Jay Jay Chandler and T.J. Starks and Marquette grad transfer Duane Wilson. Expect Admon Gilder, D.J. Hogg and Savion Flagg to man the wings.

17. Xavier
Chris Mack had to be excited when Trevon Blueitt, who averaged 21.2 ppg in the tournament, withdrew from the draft. With his return, Xavier has six of its top nine scorers back and a top-15 recruiting class to build.

18. Seton Hall
Angel Delgado returns as one of the top centers in the nation to pair with Khadeen Carrington, Desi Rodriguez and Myles Powell. Don't expect a first-round exit from the Pirates this time.

19. Texas
An 11-win team last year seriously in the top 20? You're not seeing things. The trio of Andrew Jones, Matt Coleman and No. 3 recruit Mohamed Bamba forms the cornerstones for the teams Shaka Smart used to bring to the tourney at VCU, except this squad may be better.

20. Missouri
I put Missouri here under the assumption Lil Porter, Jontay Porter, reclassifies to 2017 to play with his brother, who is only the top recruit Michael Porter Jr. after new coach Cuonzo Martin was the latest in the new trend of hiring dads of top recruits. Top-100 recruits Blake Harris and Jeremiah Tillmon help erase another growing trend of the "great player on a bad team" that has reared its head the last two years.

Just missed: Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Saint Mary's, Gonzaga and LSU (was just seeing if you were still paying attention)

Joining the American, too.

A lot more chances for quality wins against the likes of Cincinnati, SMU, UConn, etc.

They'll be the favorites if you ask the media, maybe not the AAC coaches.

Anyways, it'll be good for them not playing like 14 out of 18 games in conference against teams outside the RPI top 100 every year.

Is that just because I put A&M in there?

Nah, I think you properly rated the top 10, the PAC, and the SEC

Outside of that I really don't care about all of these until February

I do think that Minnesota will win games, but I am a skeptic of this Top-15 ranking. They have not been a very good program for awhile (I am aware of 2016-17), so I am interested to see the following:

(1) How will they handle expectations? Saw this a couple years ago when Nebraska, another B1G team, made a surprising run to the NCAAT and flopped the very next season.

(2) Will outside shooting be their demise? Dupree McBrayer showed the ability to from the outside, but the Gophers were 0-2 without Akeem Springs. Those two contests were against quality opponents, but still noteworthy because they were dreadful from 3PT, combining to shoot 9/34 (26.4%).

cincinnati is gonna be really good (and should probably be on this list). wichita state should be the favorite, but UC will give them trouble.

What's funny is I started this off as a top 25, then realized how long it was taking at first. Then once I got past UCLA at 14, I realized it was turning into a crapshoot and I was just taking a stab at it

Adel coming back is huge for UofL. Losing Mitchell was a bummer, but I am looking forward to VJ King getting more minutes and being a big part of the lineup.

They could since they return their best player last year in Jaylen Johnson, but they lose their next five leading scorers after him. MTSU will be down with Reggie Upshaw and JaCorey Williams gone. They'll probably be the preseason pick to win the C-USA
