re: Colin Kaepernick fined $10,000 by NFL for wearing the wrong brand of headphones

Is this not incredibly counterproductive, though? I've seen a headline on espn.com and scrolls across the bottom line on ESPN and FS1 mention that he was fined specifically for wear Beats by Dre headphones. They're giving the company they don't want to get publicity far more attention than they would have if they just left it alone. Would anyone have noticed what headphones he was wearing otherwise? Seems to me like a pretty cheap ad for Beats.
