As somebody who would make a natural Clay Travis fan and who agrees with him on probably 90% of issues, that was pretty tacky.

he says the same thing on his radio show all the time. Maybe it's tacky given it was on CNN, but they made a much bigger deal about it than it actually was. He's basically saying the only two things in America he 100% agrees with is freedom of speech and that boobs are awesome (i.e. he likes women). Was that comment supposed to be taken seriously? No. The other guy they had on there with him acting outraged would have laughed at what he said off camera, as would most males in this country. It. was. a. joke. If a comedian was on there as a guest the reaction would have been completely different. If CNN was looking for an actual discussion from Clay Travis, well then that's CNN's fault.
And full disclosure, I think Clay Travis is a bit of a twat, but people who get bent out of shape over him are entertaining so I don't completely mind his troll game.

It has more to do with the fact that he is one of the few in sports media that isn't afraid to tackle the thin skinned nature in our country.
There aren't many running around and they are held to a completely different standard than left leaning personalities.
So when he gets attack for stupid things, I will absolutely defend him.
If he actually does something that's racist or disgusting, I'll be the first to condemn it.
We'd be in so much better shape as a society if people didn't get their feelings hurt every 12 seconds.

WCA is getting really annoying lately, but I hoped Clay would do better in a segment like that. Fake or not, he is one of the only counterweights to ESPN's crap right now. Too bad he flushed a good opportunity down the toilet with some Howard Stern type schtick there.
