Apparently he didn't want to wear the throwback jerseys, so he cut them up so no one could wear them.

What a jackoff

No wonder that team is in shite shape, players are more worried about their kids being in club house and what uniforms they are wearing.

LOL, Sale doesn't have problems with his team losing, just those damn throw backs.

I hope he gets traded to the Marlins. If true he'd be cutting up those jerseys every day.

Maybe this was Sale's way of trying to get out of there. Would another team take the chance with him, though? (For example, would the Rangers--a team with a very loose clubhouse atmosphere--want to potentially ruin that with a loose cannon? Or would Sale do better getting out of turmoil?)

Drake Laroche would've told him that was a bad idea.

Rumor in the trade thread is he cut it up because the team is more worried about the promotion than winning and he is frustrated

It's a legit question. Some teams could care less about how the clubhouse is as long as they win (the Yankees). Others pride themselves on their clubhouse atmosphere (the Rangers).

This action is very out of character for Sale. But will it scare a team off that may have been interested?

Curious when the Yankees were winning how the clubhouse was in turmoil.... what the 70's?

Love these bad boys.

But, are these the '76 unis they're wearing and not the 83's ?

That navy SOX '76 hat is great though.

STFU.

He was upset because the team puts promotions in front of winning. The EXACT opposite of what you proposed.

Sox aren't trading Sale, this incident wouldn't make that happen #1 and #2 they won't get the return, he's going no where.

They were going to wear the '76 unis, but since Sale went Edward ScIssorhands on them they had to wear the '83's.

One week with Loria and he'd be trying to cut Loria's throat. With 3/4 of South Beach supporting him.

One of the most bizarre things I've ever heard...cutting up jerseys! Grow up Sale!

I was at the game last night. Everyone knew something was up when the team didn't come out for the national anthem. Then they emerged wearing the 1983 throwbacks when they were supposed to wear the 1976 navy blues for 70s night

Just a shitshow all around. Sale is deranged though. He lost his shite over the Adam and Drake LaRoche saga, too.

Sale is fine. He just needs a change of scenery to a club where the management isn't a joke.
