People will forget they ever considered Love the best PF on the league. Hell Griffin, Davis and Aldrige have already passed him up in the GM poll and he hasnt played a game in Cleveland yet
I was also bashed a good bit for saying Love wasn't top 5.

Same thing with Bosh. He went from being regarded as the best PF in the league to an afterthought in that category. He's a beast and is going to explode this year.
ANd he'll be right back in the top 10 discussions by lots of talking heads in the media, when he's been the same player before/during/after Lebron, it's pretty funny to see.

Totally agree. It may end up being that the Wolves look like geniuses in a few years with Wiggins and Bennett
In fairness, while I think Love is overrated, just because his numbers will drop doesn't mean he's not as good as he once was.

He'll become more efficient, that's almost guaranteed.

I'm not saying he won't have a great season, but one game is a terrible sample size.

Him and Kbeezy are battling for the MSB's resident Debbie Downer award.

And no, I would not say that to KBeezy's face.

Both Bosh and Wade will probably put up better numbers then they did last year. That is only natural with Bron gone. The Heat won't be a dumpster fire.....they should still be a decent playoff team.

Love is better than Bosh, straight up. The thing the cavs need the most from Love is rebounding, which he is an absolute animal at. He has a weak D game, but that may come in a new system, as some are done to make up for weaker guys at certain positions.

Bosh is a good player, but I certainly wouldn't have given him a max contract. Then again, I would probably be fired since I only believe 10 or so players deserve max contracts

It was against a team that is expected to be in the playoffs.

Definitely disagree.

There's not much difference in their offensive games, but Bosh is easily better defensively.

At worst, it's a push IMO.

There isn't much difference now in their offensive games maybe, but Bosh wasn't as "refined" offensively 4 years ago when he joined the heat. He is much better 3 point shooter now, although Love is still better from outside by 5%.

I will absolutely give you defense to Bosh, although he isn't a big body so he gets pushed around by guys a bit too often for being 6'11''.

But Love averages 4 more rebounds per game, which is a huge difference as well. Even in Bosh's best season he never averaged 11 boards a game. Love has averaged that every year except his rookie year, where he only averaged 9.

In fairness to Bosh, when he was the MAN in Toronto, he was putting up very good numbers. But Love's are better across the board. Bosh's best year is 24/11, Love already has 2 (or 3) seasons better than that.

Love's PER in Minny at his peak is also higher than Bosh's PER ever was in Toronto.

I dunno I'm closer than I was honestly, because D is absolutely in favor of Bosh.

I still give Love the advantage, but after writing this it is closer than I realized honestly

I hear ya. I prefer Bosh, but as I said, I think it's very close, so it could go either way or most likely, a push IMO.

I was moreso speaking to the fact that I'd take a beating on here every time I said Bosh was as good as Love the past couple of seasons. Guys were acting like it was such a ridiculous notion, so that's my main objective. If you say you prefer Love but it's close, no biggie, I disagree, but we're obivously not far off in our assessments.

There is a difference between saying Bosh is "washed up" and "not worth a max contract" at 30 years old.

A solid start for Bosh, no doubt, but the Sixers are where you go to pad your stats.
