re: Chick at X Games celebrates on last jump, crashes, and loses race

I remember once riding (street bikes) with a friend who was a beginner. We were in the mountains and he passed a car and I followed closely because of a turn coming up. He took his right hand off the throttle to wave thanks to the car, and I almost had a heart attack because I almost ran up his arse. Such a rookie move to take the throttle hand off instead of the hand that isn't doing anything.
