chapman would always make me nervous if he was on my team. his fastball is hard but it is STRAIGHT. If a guy can square it up, it he gets hit hard.

You just solved him. Send it out to the rest of the league like randy Quaid figuring out how to destroy alien spaceships.

Certainly Matusz has faced some of those Seattle guys before, being from Baltimore

Mariners know Matusz well. They faced him in last outing in big leagues May 17, and he gave up 4 ER on 5 H/1 BB over 1 2/3 IP. #Cubs

And they have faced him as well. Joe is playing for the long haul, which I get. Warren pitched surprisingly well in this role the first time Joe tried it even though we lost.

Of more concern is our continued struggles of late doing anything against starting pitching.....good, bad and mediocre.

Looked like we maybe had snapped out of it, but it reared it's ugly head again yesterday.

King Felix has not exactly been his usual self this year but the Cubs seem to have a way of getting starters back on track.

Hoping they can reverse this today.

Glad I didn't give up after 6-0.

Let's hope we can find a way to win it

Still not a fan of sending that limp dick out there to start the game. You try rest your starters and end up straining your bullpen. Hopefully this doesn't go too long.
