fricking Jonathan Herrera.

Russell is at SS today as Starlin Castro and his family are welcoming their second child into this new, #wearegood Cubs world.

Tough loss last night. Let's get this one and get away with a 3-1 series win.

Report: Cubs targeting Scott Kazmir. With Wada questionable and Jacob Turner abruptly suspending his rehab because of his "elbow flaring up" (both guys are top options for the #5 starter), the Cubs hand is being forced considering they are a good baseball team with playoff intentions.

Not much happened in the minors yesterday...go Cubs.

Looks like murderer's row with Denorfia, Baxter, Ross, and Herrera.

I honestly don't think the A's will be selling at this point especially after winning 8 of their last 10. Of course that could change if they start losing.

today is probably the day lester gets his first hit. Lets just hope it's not 1/5 of the teams hits.

6 through 1 reminds me of those 90s Indians lineups.

I feel like joe should've batted lester somewhere other than 8th today. When asked just say, "like it matters"

Just saw the lineup. Thanks to Rizzo for getting a hit in the 1st inning, taking the pressure off the lineup on being no-hit. Jeez it's awful.

At least a gon and Pederson got the day off too. And puig is still out. Although if we loss that'll make it doubly frustrating.
