The Cubs (98-55) and the Cardinals (80-73) meet this afternoon from Wrigley. Cubs have secured home field advantage for the playoffs. Jason Hammel (15-9, 3.56) gets the ball opposite Alex Reyes (3-1, 1.09). Go Cubs Go!!

SF worries me the most. Mets' rotation has been destroyed. So I would root for the Mets to beat the Giants and Cards miss the playoffs.

This. I'm hoping for either St. Louis or NYM in the NLDS. I honestly wouldn't mind the Cubs resting some starters in this series.

Rest some starters Cubs. You got it in the bag already. Like was previously said, wouldn't it be sweet to end the Cards season in the playoffs again? Right?! Right?!

Running by Wrigley the other day, I was wondering how great it would be to do a documentary about the cubs post season. The one that those guys did in 2003 was great, but heartbreaking of course.
Wonder how much it would be to pull that together. I'll get a kickstarter up and running today.
