The Cubs (76-43) look to complete a sweep of the Brewers (52-67) this afternoon from Wrigley. Jale Arrieta (14-5, 2.55) takes on Zach Davies (9-5, 3.80) Go Cubs Go!

Well well. Said he'd only play for the Cubs. And he's playing for neither the Cubs or the I-Cubs, but rather the Smokies.

Maddon said he has to explain his actions and clear the air with his teammates when he returns to Chicago.

Joe Smith to the DL with a "strained hamstring".

Cahill stays up.

But Montgomery getting the start on the road trip instead of Cahill. Can't understand that one.

Probably because it's not full rest from Tues to Saturday. Montgomery is a swing guy too and he threw only two innings. Cahill will relieve him this time.
