The Cubs (39-16) open up a 9-game road trip against the Phillies (28-29) tonight in Philadelphia. Chicago has won 8 of 10, while Philly is headed in the opposite direction, losing 8 of their last 10. Jon Lester (6-3, 2.29) gets the ball against Adam Morgan (1-4, 7.07). Go Cubs Go.

I love that view of that ballpark. Make it appear very fan friendly and arena like.

It is a great park. Got to see Edwin Jackson pitch there a couple years ago. Blake Parker tossed me a ball.

How is your boy Zimmerman doing? Still leaving dudes on base?

Soler made a great catch. Wouldn't have been a homer, but definitely a 2b/3b.

Got swapped for Murphy after that episode. So batting fifth. Doing a little better.

Big issue for the Nats now is the leadoff spot where the All Star caliber platoon of Ben Reve and Michael Taylor are hitting about 180 and OBP'ing 200.

Yeah, hit 350-something in May. Back to around 270.

Soler's 30 pound chain turns that double into a single.

Just kidding - hope he's okay.
