Did Clayton Richard forget how to pitch since last year?

He's struggling to get lefties out. Ain't looking good for him.

Yea lets not do this.

But just to kill time until today's game, roughly what do you think his trade value is right now?

Cardinals pitching use to the be the steady force. It's sad that now we have to rely on our inconsistent offense.

And that defense....

Just glad your voodoo magic is fixated on pinch hit home runs.

No idea. I'm just happy my man Matt Szczur is back. He's like the reverse Tony Campana i love it.

The Cardinals have actually been extremely unlucky this year so far.

It is nice seeing a 4th outfielder being heralded for his actual ability and not some intangible like grit. He's really easy to like.

I am forever in the Tony Campana camp. I know he was not good, but he was fun to watch. I wanted him on the 40-man when rosters expanded in September as a pinch runner.

I know right. He hustles, makes plays, then gets on base....a lot and I'm over here like...

It's easy to like guys like that and there is room for them on the roster only when they are contributing. Tony was a good baserunner...kinda. He was really only just fast. Other than that, he gave nothing. Szczur on the other hand has given the Cubs two wins so far, plays good defense and gives them good AB's. He's a much more useful player.

Again, I dont disagree that Szczur is a better player and much more dimensional fourth outfielder. Campana was a cult hero, and I enjoyed rooting for the little guy. It does not mean that I want him patrolling center or even on the active roster.

My buddy in St. Louis says they're pulling the tarps but forecast looks bad all day. Hope they get this game in.
