Don't take that as a knock on KL.

I'm not, but he IS underrated by most.

I think he's an excellent player, almost a prototypical Popovich guy.

He's basically a Spurs clone

If his offensive output can improve, he'll definitely be up there. He's only 22-23 right?

Correct, but that's not really the issue here. What I said regarding Pop not rushing his development applies in that in observing Leonard's play, on a different (lesser) team or a less disciplined system, he absolutely could put up competitive #'s every night if he wanted to. But that's not the role that would help the Spurs, and Pop has been giving him more offensive leeway incrementally so as not to upset the balance that is a hallmark of San Antonio's system.

Perhaps down the road he'll be "the man," but honestly, he shouldn't be on these Spurs as currently constructed.

I don't think we'll really know just how good Kawhi is until the Parker/Duncan/Ginoboli starts to fade out.

Agree.

Best regular season team in the NBA, I don't believe they get past OKC in the post season.

I don't understand why he is being judged at how many points scored? And that we will fully know how capable he is once the big 3 retire.

First, Tony Parker ain't going anywhere for the next four years. Second, Leonard is already a tremendous offensive player, and there is plenty of evidence that backs that up.

Meh, it's one of the metrics favored by those who aren't as into the nuances of the game and/or particular teams. It is what it is. My eyes don't lie when I watch his game, though. He's got everything and a bag of chips.

Chuck is a funny dude, but if you put him on the bucks he would be the man on that team and without a doubt a top 15 player

I mean in the matter of a week I watched him go 12/13 against the Grizzlies and he was like 16, 16, and 5 tonight.

He is completely rounded player. Lock down defense, can handle the ball, and can score with power

Off topic, but it would be so hilariously funny if the Warriors somehow choked down the stretch and missed the playoffs altogether.

They're playing now and trying their hardest to lose to Denver at home.

Remaining schedule:

@Lakers
@Portland
vs. Minnesota
@Denver

I mean, it's possible they could go 1-3 in those games.
