I hope they make it hard as shite.

Its going to be ridiculous. Super windy with narrow fairways and the rough is going to be unfair.

I love the US Open. Watching the best PGA players look like me on my club course is strangely gratifying

They play similar... If you can control your drives and keep your putts close, you have a good chance of having a good day. If you miss however, its terrible. A good drive, you have a good chance at par... if you miss, its frustrating.

Chambers has a lot of sand, but the fairways are pretty wide. Its off the fairways that gets tricky. if you miss, the course makes you pay.

I believe the US AM was played there at 7600 yds

edit - championship tees can play 7874 at a par 70. Course rating at 78.1

Are they not going to narrow the fairways like they usually do for Opens?

I don't think so. I was talking to one of the keepers there and all they plan on doing is letting the roughs grow to where if they miss, it will be hell.

He said these will be some of the widest fairways in US Open history.

Gonna be a lot of drivers staying in their bags and some low scores then.

Thats no fun to me.

Played CB on the trip out to Seattle for the LSU Washington game. It was fairly new at that time but it was a great experience. The views are fantastic. When you step onto the property, you are greeted with a fantastic look over the quarry and the Puget Sound with the lone tree perched near the water. The course looks even more intimidating from above but it's most certainly worth it.

I would lose so many balls out there without forecaddies or marshalls to find them. wind has to be insane there

Will it have typical US Open rough?, Making it a zillion times harder than Augusta?

The US Open is by far the best major.

That's why Pinnacle needs to have a sale before I head to Harbor Shores next month and Ballyneal in July

I mean if they wanted to have it on a course with no trees, they should have had it at LaTour baw.

The course looks great. This video shows the course talks about the US open a bit, wide fairways but need to be accurate to get the ball in the right location for scoring... LINK
