I usually miss it myself, but don't mind watching the opening of his show.
I thought Sonnen was going to get killed in that Anderson fight especially with all that talk. Gotta like a guy who backs it up, but methinks talking smack to Lesnar is gonna get him hurt one of these days....

I think the guy is pretty funny. But are the MMA elitist crying about this guy? If not, why not? His schtick is just as "embarrassing" as Lesnar's.

He's never said anything bad about their sponsors. And practically every mma fan, casual and hardcore, hated Chael until he whipped Anderson's arse for 4 1/2 rounds

i still hate sonnen...he talks entirely too much for having accomplished as little as he has

I would think bad mouthing sponsors would more or less be irrelevant to the fans. This guy talks about fighting, putting up the dukes and throwing down, and does not care about things like who is the better striker... just who is tougher. That to me just sounds like venom getting sprayed on MMA elitists. Seems like they would hate this guy...

This I can believe. I don't really care if MMA fans love or hate him. I was legitimately curious as to MMA fan's take on Chael. The guy is the antithesis of MMA elitist, and he really seems to not give a damn.

Exactly. I think he is funny and wonder how much of the shite he spews he actually believes. However, I have to believe this drives MMA fan crazy. Even though he took Anderson to the wire, you would think MMA fan would be relieved he lost.

none. he knows his time in this sport is short and he has to make money somehow once he retires. he's just setting himself up for his post-mma career and living off his 15 minutes. even though i gained a lot of respect for him after those 4 1/2 rounds, he's just embarrassing himself right now. i'm sure many would disagree with me, but the dude is nothing more than a pompous arse

Now what he said in the video about Silva and GSP was just like his pre-Silva fight trash talk, which was ok...
but his rant about Lesnar was right there at embarrassing and over the top....
