$1-$7mil is a large gap amigo.
At $7mil, he wouldn’t have to work ever again.
At $1mil, he still has to hustle to afford his lifestyle.

I'm sure it's much closer to (and probably more than) $7mil.

It sucks he didn’t work out at ULM because the team his first season seemed like something to build off of. But odds are it was all Rich Rod’s doing and it fell apart when he left.

Hey- good for him. He obviously likes the area, and is happy living there. Maybe the man just wants to live out his remaining good years on a somewhat slower pace away from the college game....Best of luck to him.

Monroe isn't the Bayou though? It's the Ouachita Delta.

Bayou DeSiard runs right through the middle of Funroe. It's quite pretty and there are some gorgeous homes by it.

Not everyone wants to live in the middle of urban sprawl or high touristy destinations

Grew up on Bayou Desiard thru North Monroe, beautiful area. Best part of Monroe IMO.

When you're a Southern boy, it's hard to beat God's Country. If he really loves NELA, he'll retire to Squire Creek and attend Temple Baptist. He'd be a great candidate for George Stone's Sunday School class.
