Advocate usually is now, they hire hacks to write and it is abysmal which is why no one reads the advocate anymore. I get more correct information from td than the advocate now.

Never go full retard. TD has some nuggets every now and then, but the amount of bs to sift through to get it is ridiculous.

fwiw, I trust Shea's thoughts over some slap dick at the Advocate on whether the kid actually has an offer or not since he talks to the coaches and players...

Advocate and WBRZ get their news from Tigerdroppings fwiw...

They definitely read it and get their ideas from Td.

if it involves recruiting, everyone should
and shea = former poster

Wouldn't surprise me if half the writers at the advocate were posters
Posted on 8/25/13 at 9:10 am to tduecen
absolutely
the real question is how many ESPN/FS1 personalities have profiles or regularly scan

Probably more than we wanna realize, like players who post on the rant...
Actually if writers are also posters it explains the decline of the writing within the advocate

the "big boys", at least the CFB ones, go read all the team boards to get info/stories (this isn't a tigerdroppings-centric egotistical point that i'm trying to make).
Posted on 8/25/13 at 9:22 am to SlowFlowPro
Yeah I know a lot of them read the Rivals/Scouts/ESPN team boards that they have. Tigerdroppings continues to gain in popularity so I would figure a lot of them read it....
I wonder where TigerDroppings ranks among largest team-centric boards?

Shaggy Bevo would be number one.
Or at least that's what my son's friend on the football team said.

i'd really like to see the numbers, especially with the SECrant involved
this site has moved to a major regional position with the SECrant

I had no idea the Sec rant was that big until I accidentally clicked on it.

Which is weird because that entire place blows.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Tigerdroppings is one of top 10 team/regional football/sports boards around
Posted on 8/25/13 at 10:45 am to tduecen
At the very least it has the best format of any board ive seen. Everything else out there is clunky and shitty

I remember trying to figure my way around Bucknuts.
That place is a fricking terrible layout.
