Freese is 70% gone my man.
As for Wong as trade bait, unlikely, Cards love him almost as much as Taverns, especially Mozeliak, he called him untouchable.
There's a reason they extended 2 players and didn't even consider Freese this offseason. Freese then had some choice words which didn't help his future any either combined with his mediocre season, writing is on the wall.

Go ahead and look at batting stats since the all star break. Several starters have performed worse than Freese. In fact, most have.

Wong will be more than a bench player or they would have left him down. Might not be every day starter, but will get his share of opportunities.

I'll stand by my position that they should have traded him after his WS heroics. His value was never going to be higher. He was never going to produce again at the level of what his value was. And I love the guy. He went to the same HS my wife went to.

Yup, gonna see a lot of this lineup going forward and I love it.
I think all the Pirates speed opened some eyes and the Cards want some speed which Wong is a burner.
