People around him should have realized that he's too stupid to make big decisions. They should have pushed him towards the NFL. He was the golden boy(on the field and character wise) last year. He's gonna enter the draft a 2nd string QB with below average character now.

JT Barrett could break his leg this week in practice and Cardale could lead them to another NC, and it still would have been a terrible decision to come back. You gotta cash those chips, brah. Coming back could have only exposed him. Even if there was very little to expose.

So jt supported cardale when jt was 2nd string but cardale isn't doing the same? Big surprise. They even did interviews about them being friends and supporting each other no matter who was starting. Jones true character is showing. I'm glad jt is starting. He handled it like a man when he was 2nd string.
