Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders (DAZN 8:00 PM) Arlington, TX ~ AT&T Stadium

Alvarez is the unified Middleweight Champion while BJS holds the WBO strap. An intriguing matchup indeed. Canelo is pure class and top tier but his competition in his last few fights leaves a lot to be desired. Last time he fought a slickster like BJS was Erislandy Lara in which he only won by a split decision and many thought Lara won the fight. BJS requested at 24ft ring but compromised on a 22ft ring. Alvarez and his team wanted a 18ft ring. This could be a big advantage for Saunders, as he loves to dance around the ring and outbox his opponents. But I will say Canelo is more technically sound since his loss to Floyd and split win over Lara. It could be an interesting fight or BJS just may get his arse handed to him. Either way I’m amped for it.

Scorecards are already filled out in Canelo’s favor. BJS will have to savagely KO Canelo to get a draw. Saunders can fight but he has an extremely uphill battle on the scorecards regardless of how successful he is tonight.
