Can you cheer for more than one team?

Been a Cubs fan since I was a kid, but after living in Kansas City I started liking the Royals. Can some be fans of two teams?

Ditto. But I was never a fan of another team first.

Yes. Be a fan of whomever you wish.

Expect to get some shite if you're a convenient bandwagoner, though. Hell, I did for being a Royals fan when they had their run, even though the true reason I first started pulling for them was because they were awful and it was easy to get tickets

I hate too many teams for that. OP can do what he pleases.

I like following the Royals along with the Cardinals. There is a clear #1 for me when they play each other but to answer your question, sure. Why not? Especially if they are in different leagues.

I'm a big fan of one NL team and a good fan of an AL team and it works.

I may temporarily casually root for another team, but I usually stay true to my roots. Unless my team stabs me in the back and moves 2000 miles away, I'm still the same die hard fan of the teams I've followed since my youth. Maybe if I grew up in a state without any pro teams in might be different.

I used to live pretty close to KC. Watched and listened to a bunch of Royals games on TV and radio. Usually went to 1-2 games a year. But I never cheered for them. I have deep ties to my teams, and that will likely never change.

I grew up a Braves fan. But living in STL made me cheer for the Cardinals.

Don't feel bad....if the Cubs are out of the picture, I would be just fine pulling for the Brewers. At least you picked teams in different conferences. You just need to have a clear #1 team.

Growing up family and friends never followed the brewers, and the reason I'm more ok with them now is because of my cubs fandom. But I'll always pull for the cubs when they play each other.

You can do what you want, but after the 1985 World Series I will never pull for them.

sure

American league and National.

I follow the A's and Giants now that I am in Northern CA.

I was A's and Phillies in Philadelphia.

Then Cubs (alas) and White Sox.

Why not? Back in "the day" you didn't get an infinite amount of games on TV.

I grew up a Bills fan, but I like the Saints too.

NBA, grew up a Bulls fan like every other 80's/90's kid, now I'm a big Pels fan.

MLB, I like the Rockies, but have lately been an Astros follower because of Alex Bregman.

I was a Laker fan growing up and then the Hornets/Pels came to town. I still consider myself a Laker fan but my allegiance still leans heavily with the Pels
