Busch Stadium parking

Question for Cardinals fans living in the STL area:
My SO and I are going to the July 22 game against the Rangers.
I noticed that Busch Stadium isn't that far away from the Arch (about 2-3 blocks), and I can get free parking at the Arch garage if I buy a ticket to ride the tram to the top (my SO wants to do so).
But I also know that St. Louis is one of the most dangerous cities in the US. In fact it was recently listed in the top 5 (I think #4).
Is the 2-3 block walk between Busch Stadium and the Arch so dangerous that I would be better off parking closer to the stadium?

You would be better off walking through a Taliban meeting with an American flag.
but no, there is no danger. its like all cities, just don't go to the high crime areas

No.
I parked near there and felt totally safe.

In all seriousness, I've only been to St. Louis once, but the downtown area such as around the Arch and Busch Stadium did not really seem that scary at all.

Are you wearing your Cardinal's hat?

No but my SO will wear her Cardinals t-shirt (she's originally from St. Louis).
Considering that the pitching matchup appears to be (at this point) Shelby Miller vs. Nick Tepesch I may not want to be too conspicuous of a Rangers fan.

Are you staying downtown? If not ride the metrolink and get dropped off in front of the stadium.

There is plenty of Parking within a couple blocks of Busch that costs $15-25. Id park directly south of the stadium next to Paddy O's. Usually is $20 bucks and a great spot. Ill also be at that game

Thanks for all the responses.
We decided to tour the Arch on the following day (Sunday) instead, and I was able to get reserved parking for the game on Saturday. We'll be touring the brewery on Saturday sometime before the game.

Stay @ Drury Plaza, valet park, walk to arch and stadium. My dad and I did this for the last 9 years of his life twice a year. Have not been back since he died in 2009.
