Guy never did a whole lot in SD and was just fired, wtf are the Nats doing? I mean, I guess it could work out of course, but seems like they could have done a lot better.

He never had anything in San Diego, when he did they thought he should have done better and they fired him. The team then proceeded to suck big time, he'll do well in D.C.

It's amazing how dumbasses will look solely at a won/loss record and determine, "So and So is a terrible manager". As if Tony LaRussa or Sparky Anderson managed the '62 Mets they'd be pennant contenders. Do you honestly think the Padre teams that BB had to work with had over .500 levels of talent?

as I lifelong Pads fan I do actually. he was our manager for 8 damn years and never did much of anything and there were years a better manager would have done more especially this past season where he was given a solid roster and couldnt manage it worth a damn
