Wow, I had no idea he was projected by some to go that high, surprised he's turning that down. On the other hand UCLA will be pretty loaded next year.

this is sort of the reverse of the "new CBA" argument that LSU fans like to get wrong
he's already in the top 15...there is no reason to go into the draft to improve himself economically other than (1) direct need or (2) worry over injury. if his family isn't hurting and he enjoys UCLA (i'm assuming he'll finish his degree from a great university), then it makes sense

Always happy to see guys hang around and get a degree. He would have been a top 10 pick easily, with a chance to go 1 with a great combine. Many feel he has the most upside, but needs work.

if he got a top 10 pick grade, he'll get a nice insurance policy

He is a RS soph this year. He will be a RS Jr next season. Same as JFF
