If you're New Orleans, would you give it to him?

Pay the man.

An elite QB is hard to find. We won't have one in 2020 anyway so might as well ride Drew as long as we can.

If they sign that it proves they have a worthless administration, and is one reason I'm wearing a Farve jersey right now.

Pay him

He's 37, turns 38 in Mid January.

Side question. If a guy retires before he finished his contract how does that work with the money?

Clearly otherwise he would have left new orleans a long arse time ago.

What a severely wasted talent

4/$100 is fine if only $60MM is guaranteed

I'm all about the Saints and love Drew for what he has done for the Saints and NOLA, but this is just stupid, he's too old. Sorry Drew, not personal, just business.

Absolutely. Hopefully front load it, but I'd still give him top money right now.

At 37 last year, missing a game, he still led the NFL in passing yards. Think about that.

Brees should get 3/60. With $40ish guaranteed. He has cashed in on his SB run, he isn't getting us back there because we can't afford the talent to get there.

No. Time to rebuild. That 100 million would go a long way in rebuilding.

$20 mill a year for three years isn't bad, the 49ers are paying their backup $15 million a year.
