Do they still have Harvin? I personally think Harvin is overrated, but if they do and you have Decker and now Marshall...holy shite. That may be the best WR corps in the NFL with no one throw them the ball

Um no not even close

And Harvin will be cut

Correct. Without giving it much thought, DT88 + Sanders > BM + Decker.

Really? Not even close huh? The Packers, Broncos, Giants, Lions, and possibly Tampa are maybe comparable. Maybe. Who's better than those 3 in NY?

Congrats. You found one team that is comparable. And sorry, a healthy Marshall, Decker, Harvin is better than Thomas, Sanders, Welker.

All of those teams are better than those three. Just because they have big names doesn't mean they would be the best in the league

No, you're being ridiculous.

Thomas >>Marshall

Sanders >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Decker

Good lord, no.

You can even take Welker out of the equation since he's probably not going to be a Bronco next year, and I'll still take the Broncos.

Healthy and Harvin/Marshall don't belong in the same sentence. The jets will never have a "great wide receiver corps" as long as they continue to employ shitty quarterbacks.

It's not THAT crazy if you consider how good truly healthy harvin is. It's been years since we have seen that, though, so it doesn't even make sense to consider .

Ridiculous?

Thomas does edge out Marshall, but GTFO with that Sanders is significantly better than Decker BS. Decker is a well above average WR in the NFL. He averaged 86, 1150, 12 the two years he played with Manning which are very comparable to Sanders, and that was a competent Welker.

If we're talking video game skills, yes it's comparable. If we're talking real world, I'll take the two Denver receivers over the 3 Jets any day of the week.

Percy is a great athlete, just not a great receiver.

The irony is, if it would have been Marshall and Decker playing with Manning last year and Thomas with the Bears and Sanders with the Jets, every one of you would be looking at this the opposite way. Sanders wasnt shite before he got to Denver and played with Manning. His best season in Pitt in a 4 year career there was 67, 740, 6 and that was playing with Roethlisberger and Todd Haley's pass happy offense. It is ok to expand your minds people.

Sanders was way more effective in that role than decker

He produced more even with Manning forgetting how to throw a football for the last 4 games of the season

Was he now?

14 recs, 116 yds, -2 TD's. That seem WAY more effective to you?

Or to state it another way - per game- .88 recs, 7.25 yards, and -.12 TD's. Yup, WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more effective.

Decker is a stud. I do not really agree with the notion that Sanders is leaps and bounds better.

Jcoryel, I was waiting for a comment like yours. It was perfect. The only time your statement is not true is like 2% of great teams like the 2004 Pistons. The Hawks are potentially there as well, but clearly the exception.

This is where I say no. And how is that irony?

Ok? I think DT88 is a top 5 receiver in the game and in the prime of his career. Marshall is going to be 31 yo this season. Still a very good receiver but he's no a game breaker anymore. DT88 > Marshall. Emmanuel Sanders truly showed his ability this past season with speed, route running and incredible hands. Decker is a very good receiver as well but it's still Sanders > Decker. Harvin is never healthy and isn't a great receiver. Great athlete, not a great receiver.
