Will Brady Hoke be employed by Michigan come Monday morning?

5-6 record
Lost today to Maryland
Plays Ohio State in their last game
Will finish 5-7

I say he'll be fired tomorrow. Anyone agree?

November 30th will be the day Hoke is unemployed because he probably won't be making it out of Columbus.

I think there is a timing thing with the money/buyout and the school saves a million if they fire him by a certain date.

This. His buyout drops from $3 Million to $2 Million after New Year's.

I think Michigan can afford 1 mil. Don't think they can afford to wait until New Year's to start looking. That would be a huge mistake.

Unless they got Harbaugh in the bag.

I think they go after him without a doubt

Very good point and I know he's on the way out in San Fran. I think these are easily the top 2 candidates.

Im with you Calculus and rather one likes Miles or not , I just pray that Alleva doesn't get played like a fiddle once again. No need for anything to be done to keep him, if Momma comes calling , then let the man go. Also, could have Harbaugh in the bag and if that is the case, guess Miles will be here a little longer.

I think the question for Harbaugh, is "do I want to stay in the NFL or go back to college".
Not sure what he would truly want to do, I think he wants to be an NFL coach, but Michigan is his alma mater, so....

There is absolutely no way Hoke is fired after New Years day. That will be awful for the coaching search, and 1 million is chump change when compared to a good coaching hire.

Your exactly right

And I hope Alleva doesn't get played again either. Before we know it we'll be paying 10 mil a year for Les.

They have to make a move immediately just for recruiting. They had a RB de-commit on Twitter as soon as Maryland scored the go ahead touchdown. That was another huge blow. Their TE and last good recruit is going to de-commit as well. He voiced his disappointment on Twitter yesterday as well. As of yesterday, Michigan had 7 de-commitments and soon to be 8. They only have 7 commits in their current class. Hoke has to be to fired for this very reason. Its a sad state of affairs in Ann Arbor.
