As weird as Garcia is he is the only boxer that understand how to market a fight in the modern social media world.

That ref kept Haney in it. Should have been done in the 7th. In the words of Adrien Broner: he beat that boy

Ryan might be legitimately crazy, but that crazy motherfricker can fight

Def the fight of the year. Everyone always makes fun of Ryan for only having a left hook but that fricker is dangerous

He’s a one armed bandit (I believe he is a converted southpaw like Tyson, De La Hoya, Gerry Cooney etc.) but that one hand is very dangerous.

If you weren’t aware of King Ry until recently then you just simply don’t know or follow boxing whatsoever…

He’s been “relevant” for quite a while now

That was a fantastic fight

Do y’all not understand that he’s doing all that shite on purpose? It’s an act and he’s doing it for attention. Combat sports these days are just as much about promo and creating characters as it is about the in ring stuff

Phuck the pvussy judge that had it 112 - 112 like the clown analyst .

That was Max DeLuca's scorecard. Should change his name to Max DeLusional.

No way a fight is that close when one fighter scores 3 knockdowns in it unless he did absolutely NOTHING in all the other rounds.

After the knockdowns Haney had that same look Adrien Broner had when Marcos Maidana beat his arse in their fight several years ago.

It was like he didn't know how to defend against that left hook.

I don’t think it’s an ‘act’. If you look at the timestamp of most of his bizarre tweets they are late at night early morning. He likely has substance abuse issues just like De La Hoya and a ton of other fighters do.

Round 7 was ridiculous. Should have been three knockdowns and the end of the fight. Clown reffing.

Exactly. Deluca must be related to the MLB ump Angle Hernandez or the gambling NBA player Jontay Porter

You're absolutely right. That fight should have ended in the 7th.

First the long count on the first knockdown then letting Haney hold on to Ryan to stay up.

Say what you want about Ryan, but he knows how to market in today's world. He has MILLIONS of social media followers that watched a boxing match last night that normally wouldn't have. That's a win for the sport.

I'm not a "face of boxing" kind of person but Garcia is damn sure one of the ones carrying the sport.

Haney is a gifted fighter but he has no chin. Linares exposed that several fights ago. Plus, he should have two losses. Loma beat his arse too.

A Garcia/Tank rematch probably doesn't happen because of the weight difference but a non weight drained Ryan definitely has a different outcome. Ryan was in that first fight, but Tank caught him with a hell of a body shot.

I think Ryan/Teo is the fight to make.

I thought I was the only one to take notice! Plus, he had to pay Haney $1.5 million.

There are weight classes for a reason. Haney KO'ed him when he made weight...and I can't stand Haney but this was a pathetic win for Garcia.
