10 wins in a row. I kind of laughed at Anthopoulos going all-in for a one game wild card, but they wiped out the division deficit in the blink of an eye. Can the Yanks right the ship? Can the Jays beat KC and/or the NL elite in the playoffs? Are Duece and BB03 on suicide watch? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yankees being passive at the deadline is going to cost them the division.

The Jays are way better, then mix the Jays playing above their heads and the Yankees playing like dogshit and this will happen.

I've given up on the season

ETA: They might make the playoffs because the AL is so terrible. But I'm waiting for Baltimore to make a move.

Yep and the offense has been slumping for about 7 games now.

Lots of people said they wouldn't catch New York.. Even after they got Tulo.. They like haven't lost since have they? Maybe once?

Definitely not making any predictions but just remember people saying they wouldn't catch New York because they did not have the pitching to make up the ground.

I hope they can keep it up because they are fun to watch hit bombs

I thought the Jays could make the division close by the end of the season, but didn't see the lead going up in smoke in two weeks. Went to bed yesterday when NY got two in the tenth, only to see they took the gaspipe.

Baltimore is fading, too, I think the Yanks make it.

I'm on the Jays bandwagon since their fans were very cool when I went there to see the Tigers last year, Price is a class act, and somebody needs to take out the TPOS Royals.

Astros/Yankees will play in the wildcard game. After 27 scoreless innings, the game will be called and the Jays (riding a 57-game winning streak) will be given a bye into the ALCS.

the Yankees will win the division they said. There was no way the Yankees would blow their 8 game lead, they said.

They were playing really well up until a week ago. I didn't see them blowing it, that being said its not over. They can still win the division

Btw

you do realize that the Yankees have the best record in baseball in July, right?

I'd bet my left nut that Toronto doesn't catch the Yankees. Not sure they'll even make the playoffs.

I'm more pissed about the Kershaw thread being anchored than this shite, tbh.

What?!? That's a shrine of the MSB. I can only imagine members of ISIS got ahold of an admins account and did the anchoring, surely it'll be on the first page for us after tonight's performance once Chicken and company notice the mistake

I wouldn't mind a Mets/Blue Jays World Series right now. Both teams have been absolute fire since the deadline and have no signs of slowing down.
