In this day and age of scoring offense this is the best Lebron can do? If he truly was better than MJ he should be averaging 50 a game.
You realize the league was more of a scoring league when Jordan played right? Right?

You mean the team that is shattering every 3 pt and scoring record?

I believe the general consensus is that Golden State is a historically great team. That doesn't seem to jive with the point you're attempting to make.

No, the league had better scorers.

The defenders in today's game are better, imo.

He is also said the league is more of a scoring league now. Which is also false. It is amazing that people think some things that are so easily proven wrong.

So 20 years of scoring being up from 1980-2000 compared to 2000-2015 is because of the better scorers?

Exactly! There is no defense.

Also, so scoring is down because of the scorers, but Golden States good shooting is because of bad defense. You are awesome

Absolutely! Look at the all time scoring records and see what era they are from. Almost none past 2000 but excluding Wilt they came from that period from 1980 through 2000.

Always has and always will be... BTW I wish I could see bron try to drive the lane against Bill and Mahorn and Rodman...He would be crying like a pussy after the 1st period........

A team that relies on 3 pointers like them should never make it to the NBA finals. If the defense was worth a shite they could be stopped.

Again scoring is down due to lack of scorers plain and simple.

Of course he would. Lebron is way to small and weak

So not because of how much defense has evolved? Not because there is no illegal defense anymore? Not because team defense has become a regularity in the game? Not because of those more logical reasons? Instead we are supposed to believe that for whatever reason in a 20 year stretch some how some way basketball players have regressed. You are right, that makes more sense

But some of the best defenders of all time played in that era like Rodman, Akeem Olajuwon and the whole Pistons team.

I take it you never watched a game in the 80s or early 90s.
