big 12 puts up big points, I wonder if any team in big -12 plays defense, xcept for will's d at texas.
Right now, I hate to say it, but big 12 maybe the best in college football, based on offensive output and qb play.

SEC in my opinion is a stronger conference year in and year out, but I think we are in a dwon year for some reason.

Big 12 is the prettiest, but Texas and OU are the only teams that have any defense.

Comes to total package, I like the SEC but it is close.

it's pretty obvious that the SEC leaders have all had let down games while the Big 12ers have been impressive.

Mizzou's first half flop not withstanding

Big 12 is better this year. Auburn is down, Arkansas is down, who is the 5th best team in the SEC? South Carolina? Vanderbilt? Could they hold a candle to Kansas or Missouri? No.

I honestly don't know right now, i don't think the SEC has an NC contender this year, the Big 12 probably does in Texas, but Mizzou and Oklahoma haven't really lived up to the hype.

So far this year, BIG 12 easily. Every other year, SEC easily.

It's hard to guage the Big 12 and tell just how good they really are, considering they have a difficult time playing playing stiff, rock hard defense.

The SEC may be having a down year thus far, but it's clear some folks have been bamboozled by the Big 12 and their ability to rack up numbers offensively.

What got the big12 the respect is last year in their bowl games. KU beat V-tech. Missou slapped the Hawgs to the tune of 38-7. Texas hung 50 on co-pac10 champ Arizona State. The list goes on. The SEC is prob the deeper conference, but there is no sleeping on the fact that the big12 has gotten a lot better. Who would have thought that KANSAS would be good at football....LOL!!!

The Big 12 is A QB conf!! The SEC is STILL a DEFENSE conf!! Daniels is ok and is Bradford, MCcoy is a great QB. However he would be MEAT in the SEC!!

I'm not being a homer...it's the SEC. The Big 12 has 5 good teams and then the rest have wool pulled over the sheepdia's eyes or they just flat out suck. The SEC is more competitive; tougher to win on the road; has legitimacy of their own with 4 teams who would all possibly, as of now, end up in Miami.

The Big 12 has just begun conference play. Let's have this discussion again in November.

* This is the best the Big 12 has ever been and one of the down years of the SEC. That should tell you something.

Make no mistake, the Big 12 is fun to watch. Outside of Texas and OU, it seems like they've given up on playing defense.

It's just a hard guage. It's hard to respect a conference that is so soft on d-fence.
