It's on ESPNU right now

Still one of the best sports documentaries I've ever seen.

I watched it for the first time tonight and it might be the best I've ever seen as well.

I have heard from several younger guys, such as myself, who follow NCAA Football closely. Most were amazed they had never heard of this guy. It speaks to how appropriate the title is.

Why is it every documentary or biography about a fallen sports star has a sorry arse uncle or snake oil salesman/preacher in the story?

I really felt bad for Dupree when he has talking about his bother at the end.

I agree. That was a great one. Sad that leeches cling on to kids like this and take them for all theyre worth.

Not sure why he was so upset about his brother. He appeared to be doing better than the RB at the end of the documentary.

I think he was just emotional and didn't think he did enough to make his mother and little brother proud of him.

I think it was probably a very favorable portrait of Dupree. I am sure he was doing some pretty dirty stuff and should shoulder most of the blame for his own demise. Who leaves a school in the middle of a season?

5 star recruits do it all the time if they go out of state. If they don't pan out.

I don't remember anyone starring in a game one week and then leaving mid week, but I bet you are right. Its probably been done a couple of times.

Plus, he had Farley pulling at him back home in Mississippi. Farley really is the mastermind behind the demise of Dupree....he used So. Miss as a proxy to the USFL and for a 19 year old kid Dupree took the bait. (unfortunately)
