Brother got one for cheap from aliexpress.com and said it was legit and they sewed everything, but it's from China and also said a friend of his got his card hacked on there buying an NBA jersey.

Any other sites out there besides MLB shop?

Maybe check Lids at your nearest mall? I've seen them have decent deals at times.

If you do eventually go the aliexpress route, make sure to look at the seller rating. I wouldn't buy from anyone with less than a 99% approval.

Had a friend order a MLB jersey from one of those Chinese knockoff websites recently.

Yea, screw that. I was looking at the Dodgers jerseys they had, and it looked like "Do dgers" across the front.

I used Aliexpress as well. Got a Texas Rangers Jersey. It was like $30 and legit. But yes, one of my friends also said his card was hacked while buying an NFL jersey. I didn't have a problem though.

Aliexpress is a great option for jerseys that just aren't readily available in US venues. For example:

But yea, if you don't want to wait around a month for a jersey you can spend a little extra cash and get immediately, just go to the stadium store.

I used a prepaid VISA giftcard at aliexpress.com for a throwback NBA jersey. There was a couple spots on the lettering but a bleach pen fixed it right up. I believe the grand total was $15. Just don't be in any hurry to receive it. Mine took 3-4 weeks.

Same Jersey From Lids

But, yeah if you want to save money then you can always roll the dice with the knockoff sites. Personally if I'm buying a jersey, I'd rather spend the extra money for an actual quality product that will look good and last for years.

You got me but in fairness it's only $25 on aliexpress. To me it all depends on how you collect jerseys. If you prefer having one or two that you wear a lot, buying US is a pretty obvious choice. But if you're the kind of guy that hoards jerseys (talking 10-15 per year) just to say you own them, then aliexpress will save you a considerable amount of cash.

I would check eBay honestly. Most of the stuff on there is new or very lightly used and in good condition, plus it's generally cheap

I would check Majestics website. I've been looking at getting a new Rangers jersey and they had the last authentic models that they used for $100. These jerseys are normally $325 or so. Prices may vary for different teams but I checked into a few teams like the Astros and Pirates and what they had left in those teams was $100.

Some of them are even customizable with player names for $100.

This is what I need. I've been wanting to go on ahead and invest in a Mazara one.

Yes that's exactly what I'm wanting to get to. Just can't decide what color yet. You may even be able to sign up for their coupons and use a 10% off code.

Do you want game worn? A lot teams sell game worn jerseys through their gift shops and online. They are expensive, but you get a legit jersey that was game worn that will hold its value over time in the collector market.

Considering Mazara is like 6'5 and I'm 6'0, I probably shouldn't get a game worn one

I used to get mine through Team Depot, but that seems to have disappeared. Preference now would be either Fanatics or Fansedge.com, if not MLB shop.
