My buddy and I trying to come up with best trio as relates to this:

1: judged on NFL career not college
2: trio = 1 QB, RB, WR
3: had to be all on same roster but didn't have to start

Example:
2008 Georgia
QB - Matthew Stafford
WR - AJ Green
RB - knowshown Moreno

Who can think of the best trio?

Weren't Aaron Rogers, Marshawn Lynch, and Desean Jackson all at Cal around the same time?

I don't think so. Lynch and Rodgers were and then Lynch and Jackson but not all 3

Aside from the Peach Bowl blowout of Miami, Flynn didn't really play until Addai and Bowe were gone.

ETA: Just looked it up, Rodgers went in 2005 draft, Jackson didnt get to Cal until summer 2005

Nevermind, you are correct. Rodgers left Cal after 2004 and Jackson didn't arrive until 2005

Miami 2000-2002

QB-Ken Dorsey
RB-Frank Gore
WR-Andre Johnson or Reggie Wayne

I know the QB did nothing, but it is a borderline HOF RB and most likely HOF WR.

Remove Jarrett and add Steve Smith and it's not too terrible. Leinart was in the league for several years, and Smith was one of the better slot receivers before injuries derailed his career.

LSU thou, with OBJ/Landry, Hill and Mett would be tough to beat.

Oh yeah, you're right. Gotta go with Stafford, Moreno, and Green then I would think.
