Harden is getting the Dwayne Wade circa 2006 NBA Finals treatment

You guys can bitch all you want, but the refs starts this game calling things way too tight, and Harden adapted. We couldn't let these whistle happy refs completely screw us with Dwight on the bench for basically the whole second quarter.

20. The Reverse Charge

Chris Paul is the master at it — that little piece of chicanery in which a ball handler ahead of the pack, and sometimes with clear sailing to the rim, veers right into the path of the defender chasing him. It’s jarring to watch, since the offensive player sometimes has no reason to swerve — other than to draw a cheap foul. If the direction switch is blatant enough, some brave officials will call the offensive player for a charge — and that is awesome. It’s not a basketball play.

Okay and they just gave a 3rd to Dirk on an atrocious call where Harden just ran in to him.

It's annoying to watch

Too bad Harden has gotten the calls all year making your argument null and void

Harden did a great job of adjusting, I have no problem saying that. I also have no problem saying we were fortunate Howard got called for a foul that probably wasn't one. That doesn't mean that Harden isn't getting incredibly favorable treatment.

No. Every day, people say he won't be able to get the calls in the playoffs. I think he agreed because he was not looking for them early. After he saw how whistle happy the refs were, he started to take inside looking for fouls. Smart smart player.

HOU fans cannot--I repeat--CANNOT bitch about officiating as long as Harden is playing the way he does.

Same as Spurs fans when Manu was in his prime doing the same thing

Harden definitely got some favorable calls, but I would trade all of those if Dwight could have stayed in the game completely dominating.

Smart smart player. Or incredibly favored by the Refs/NBA.

Step 1 is denial though.

T-Bird, Manu is the ONLY spurs player I would still hate if he played for Dallas

I will agree with you about Harden being smart. He saw the way the game was being called (meaning he saw Joey Crawford was an official ), and adjusted his game to get calls. The call on Dwight was probably wrong, but not atrocious. Harden got the advantage of a couple atrocious calls.

Officiating has been tight all game both ways. Harden drives to the basket more than anyone else, leading to getting fouled more often. If anyone on Dallas' side was to start driving as much as he does, they would get the call also. It's not like he's getting it just because his name is James Harden like people seem to think.

Rondo and Dirk need to calm the frick down. If Rondo is hitting shots, Dallas is a great team.

Howard looks like Orlando Dwight. People have forgotten what he is capable of because of his back and knee problems.
