Rockets didn't play well. Didn't rebound, didn't make open shots, didn't make free throws, didn't defend, etc.
Bad games happen. Mavs put in more effort this game than the Rockets did.

Mavs were doing everything possible to ensure Harden didn't score. So he changed his game and became a distributor.
He took what the defense gave him and beat them in a different way. That's what star players do.

Smith's defense was terrible last game. He was leaving guys wide open in the pick and roll all game long. Very lazy defense.
He's good defending guys down low... but he was absolute arse at defending further away from the basket, and especially in the pick and roll.
That's one area where Motiejunas is missed... defending the pick and roll is one of his best attributes.

Tony Brothers has to be the worst ref in the league. Also, this Mavs line up is brutal defensively.
