Shut up about college football, you have bigger issues to deal with. I'm so tired of hearing his opinion about the subject of a playoff system. I know he knows more than everyone else (elitist), but not on this subject. I will support the guy as prez, but shut it when it comes to sports.

what do you suggest he answer with when asked the question? george bush is a huge sports fan, i'm sure he'd love to talk about baseball with reporters if they asked.

he said he would pick and choose his issues and that this one was not high on his list of priorities, what more do you want?

so the guy cannont cannnot comment on his opinion of the current system? I think he has the right to. If he makes proactive efforts to try to change the system, thats where I have a problem.

i though his last comment was something along the lines of he would love to see a playoff, but he has better things to spend his time on, like creating 3 million new jobs.

if they ask him the question point blank, that seems like an acceptable answer.

I just don't want to hear it anymore, how many times do we have to hear his opinion? He gave his answer once, why should they keep asking? He should stop giving any answers because he has addressed his thoughts on the subject.

I think they asked his opinion of the situation. What is he supposed to do?

No, I just don't want to hear about sports from the guy that is about to be the leader of the free world. I want the press to ask better, more informative questions. That is a losing battle though, so no point in fighting that.

I was just saying someone asked him what he thought of the game and the BCS final polls. Someone is trying to find a reason to bash Obama.

That should be discussed in political talk. This is supposed to be sports, I think.

nah not really, i'm not trying to bash Obama. I just think that he has other things to worry about rather than sports. It just seems to me like this country has quite a few issues that need to be addressed and soon, and college football isn't one of them. His answer should be simple:"I have a ton of issues to handle at the time being, i'll get back with you when my work is done". That would send a strong message, to me atleast.
