You out of staters really have no idea about Mardi Gras & all that it entails. Anyone is open to mocking, and it has nothing to do with any obsessions, the Falcons for sure. As for being left in the dust, I don't see any other city not only hosting the NBA all star game this year but even being able to consider it with only a few mths notice. Pretty sure the college football playoff will have a game in The Dome, too. NCAA regionals. etc.
