How many people are on the field at a time? Are all those people on the field the whole time?
So it's kinda like a home run derby of sorts, with only one round.
One team goes, then the other team goes. End of game.
Is the lunch break halftime, or how is that decided?

Does baseball's shortstop come from cricket's long stop?

11 players are allowed on the field at any time including a catcher (wicket keeper) and the pitcher (bowler). The chart shows all possible fielding locations for the 9 other fielders. They are placed depending on the strategy the bowler is employing at that moment.
The world cup is being played in a 50 over (50 * 6 =300) 'one day' format (8 hours total). The team batting first gets 300 balls for their inning; the team chasing gets 300 balls also. Each inning takes about 3.5 hours. There is a 25-30 minute break in between change of innings. Depending on whether the game is a day game or a night game, the break will be a lunch break or a supper break.
